what’s new?

  • I just kicked off a new novel project. I’m at the very beginning, my favorite place to be: research! Stay tuned for more news on this AND on my other projects. Exciting developments ahead!

  • Want to channel your inner writer? I know you have something to say! So, I added a new section to my website called "Write Your Own Adventure" with creative writing prompts for you to try out! See what you think!

other fun stuff:

I attended the Rutgers University Council on Children's Literature One-On-One Plus Conference in October of 2018 to talk with editors and agents about revisions I've made to my first novel! In the past, I’ve attended several SCBWI national conferences, regional first page workshops, and the Oregon Coast Children’s Book Writers Workshop. I’ve also done classroom visits in the NY Metro area to meet with kids in 2nd - 6th grades to talk about writing & science! And, I regularly attend the NY-Metro SCBWI Tuesday night talks to learn more about my craft and to meet other kidlit writers!
